if not then why is it only for people over 18 years of age, why not for like 14 year olds?, atleast it keeps them from trying smoking.

Is esmoking bad for you? Well, the jury is still out on this one. There are only three studies on the nicotine solution that have been done on different types of solution and all found that the solution is safe. There has also been one clinical trial done and we are awaiting the results on that. With all of that said, many switch from tobacco to the e-cig find that they have better lung capacity and an overall better feeling. I personally have gone from a pack a day to zero tobacco cigarettes and smoke my e-ciggy exclusively and I do notice a huge difference in my overall stamina and health.
It isn’t available for those under 18 because it does contain nicotine and nicotine can be and is addictive. However, nicotine does have some qualities that are good and unfortunately, they have been delivered to the masses with over 4000 additives, which have been found to cause cancer. There have been quite a few studies done that show nicotine can be a safe way to self medicate for things like depression and other mental issues. The bad with nicotine is the high blood pressure.
If you are under 18 and you haven’t tried smoking, please don’t. Not to be your parent, because I am sure you already have one… I started smoking at 15 and have fought a long and hard battle with something that I love to do, but is horribly bad for me. If you must smoke you can try the no-nicotine cartridges or you do and you want quit and you can’t (and don’t feel bad because some of us are more prone to addictions than others) see what an adult in your life thinks about this. It is definitely a viable option.
Either way, if you are interested in moving forward and trying an e-cig, my suggestion is that you contact different suppliers. Do they answer the phone? Can they answer your questions? Yes, you may be able to get them cheaper from one site vs another, but if the unit has issues and your supplier is hard to reach, well you might be SOL on your investment. (If you smoke a pack a day, you can save minimum 40% per year with the e-cig).
I am providing you a link to my blog which will guide you to some interesting facts regarding safety, usage etc. If you have any questions, always feel free to contact me! I love my e-cig and I can honestly say I will never have another tobacco cigarette… ever.
The only thing about it that is bad is that nicotine is addictive. In mu opinion, it would be a fine thing to give children to get them ready for real smoking. But really, they learn to smoke so easily, and build up their tolerance and addictions so quickly, that there is little point.
I take that back – there is one good use for the e-cigarette. Babies of smokers are born addicted, and if they aren’t exposed to smoke after birth, they get cranky. So this e-cigarette could be used to calm babies.
Wait – here is another use: kids with ADD or ADHD. Nicotine helps them better than other drugs, and this is an excellent way for them to get it, if they come from non-smoking families.
